The Great Undertaking.
So, I've been thinking, that with the MMO coming out, it's time for TES to go for the great undertaking.
What is that undertaking you ask?
Why, the transfer to Pen and Paper Roleplaying, old school table top, of course!
So, without further ado, lets get this ball rolling.
If you wanted to play table top TES with your friends, what system would you like use?

To answer my own question:
Pathfinder, using the generic classes from the UA.
Not alot of people on tonight?

Re: The Great Undertaking.
I've actually thought about this a lot - even went so far as to scour every local gaming shop for any inkling of others with the same thought (sadly, no luck). Considering that Tamriel was the in-house campaign setting for the original Bethesda team's D&D games, I'm very surprised this hasn't been done yet. That being said, I vote GURPS.

Any other votes that don't require long division, a slide rule, and calculus to build a character with?

Bull. GURPS is one of the easiest systems out there, most realistic, and definitely fits the flow of an Elder Scrolls game. But then, it is my favorite system, so I may be biased.

Just playing, but seriously, character creation is such a B I T C H in that system. Which edition of CRUNCH where you referring to?

Re: The Great Undertaking.
I live and breathe by 3rd. The latest miffed some things pretty bad, imho.
Re: The Great Undertaking.
I've only had experience with 1st edition D&D, 1st edition AD&D and 3.5 D&D, so i'd use a variation of one of those but change stuff up myself to make it more fitting.

Right. 3.5 and pathfinder are, at it's core, the same thing.
Pathfinder consolidated a lot of mechanics and made the classes better, but it's the same d20 mechanic from 3.5.

Well........
Seeing as how this thread hasn't had another bite in 5 days, I guess I will humor Grimnir.
What do you see happening in Skyrim RPG using GURPS?
